Janna works with adults from a wide range, including young adults and senior citizens. She especially enjoys working with women and employs a feminist perspective to her approach. Janna works with clients collaboratively to reach their therapeutic goals.
She has worked in a one-on one format for years and believes that the relationship and “fit” between therapist and client is of paramount importance.
She has a good sense of humour and believes that humour has a place in therapy and that it can help to develop an ease between therapist and client. Janna works with individuals in the traditional 50 minute therapeutic hour at a frequency that is comfortable for the client.
My commitment to clients is that I will listen with an open mind and heart, without judgement, honouring the fact that clients have the knowledge within themselves to change and heal.
Janna has a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is registered as a psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
